The article is devoted to interactive teaching techniques as psycho-educational tools of defining the level of the students and cadets’ readiness for group interaction at civil and departmental higher educational institutions. The author suggests a brief definition of this phenomenon from the point of view of pedagogy and pedagogical psychology. Characteristics of the readiness are specified, the system of criteria and their indices as well as the methods of measuring the readiness are mentioned. There is a description of the levels of readiness for group interaction. The article describes the experimental data that confirm the validity of applying the specified criterion-referenced strategy evaluation apparatus in everyday teaching practice.
