Abstract

In the professional preparation of students-psychologist distinguish two directions: first, the development of professional competence, the second - personal formation, formation of the internal readiness for the development of the profession, the implementation of himself in it. Transition to a competence model of learning includes an assessment of the personal characteristics of the student graduates. Conducted a study of the dynamics of personal traits and interpersonal relations students (test Leary) before and after the discipline «Introduction in clinical psychology» with the purpose to study General and professional competences of students on a speciality of «Clinical psychology». The analysis of the results showed that students become more responsible, confident, persistent, energetic, more friendly, flexible, willing to cooperate, more responsive and compassionate towards people
