Abstract

The authors of the article try to analyze the implementation of the principle of succession in the educational activity of classical gymnasiums and universities at the end of XIX – beginning of XX centuries. They also consider the possibilities of creative application of educational experience in the determination of conceptual basics of development of modern Russian education
